Biography
Dr. Kirk Clegg-Johnson has a long-standing passion for learning and understanding the human body. Throughout his career, he has focused on education, mentoring, providing clinical training, and encouraging team members to grow. He has developed a strong affinity for teaching and is currently dedicating most of his time to Bradley University, where he serves as an Assistant Professor. His research interests are diverse and include chronic pain conditions, educational pedagogy, hypermobility, and physical therapy treatments. Dr. Clegg-Johnson is committed to advancing healthcare knowledge and preparing the next generation of healthcare providers.

Professional Experience
Dr. Clegg-Johnson has been practicing as a physical therapist for a decade, bringing a diverse skill set and extensive knowledge to the field. His primary specialty lies in orthopedic physical therapy, with a particular emphasis on chronic pain management. In addition, he has substantial experience in a variety of areas, including cardiopulmonary therapy, wound and lymphatic care, neurological therapy, and pediatric physical therapy, to name a few. Dr. Clegg-Johnson has also held the position of adjunct assistant professor at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria for several years, where he has contributed to the enhancement of interprofessional education. Furthermore, he has served as a clinic manager for five years.
Through his roles as an educator and researcher, Dr. Clegg-Johnson is committed to advancing the field of physical therapy and fostering the next generation of practitioners. His dedication to teaching and scholarly activities reflects his belief in the importance of integrating clinical practice with education and research to improve patient care and outcomes.

Dr. Clegg-Johnson presents at BU OLLIE and student organization meetings. He is also developing CEU courses for healthcare providers and creating a learning experience with ultrasound imaging.
