Bradley among top 10 in the nation for earnings potential by engineering graduates

10/10/2014 11:14 AM

Bradley University has ranked among the top 10 schools in the nation in terms of salary potential for students who earn a degree in engineering in the 2014-15 PayScale Potential Salary Report.

The Report has data for engineering graduates from 216 colleges and universities.

Bradley joined such schools as Northwestern, Vanderbilt, University of Virginia, and University of California – Berkeley in the top ten.

Bradley’s Caterpillar College of Engineering and Technology enrolls approximately 850 undergraduate and 150 graduate students in four departments: civil engineering and construction, electrical and computer engineering, industrial and manufacturing engineering and technology, and mechanical engineering.

Students also participate in seven honor societies and 16 clubs within the College.

PayScale, creator of the largest database of individual compensation profiles in the world, has the salary data to rank hundreds of U.S. colleges and universities based on total cost and alumni earnings.

Earlier this year, PayScale ranked Bradley fifth among private universities and seventh on the combined list of public and private universities in the State of Illinois in its fifth annual College Return on Investment (ROI) Report. Bradley’s engineering program also received recognition last month when U.S. News & World Report placed it in the top 35 programs nationwide.
