Testing

Bradley University will administer asymptomatic surveillance testing for students and employees as well as symptomatic testing for students. Employees who are symptomatic or wish to be otherwise tested should consult their primary physician or one of the testing sites in the Peoria area.

Bradley Health Services will prioritize testing for symptomatic students, asymptomatic close contacts of COVID-positive individuals and other target groups. Students may request a COVID test at any time, but you may or may not receive an appointment if you are asymptomatic and haven't been in close contact with a COVID-positive individual.

If Health Services is unable to fulfill your request, you may want to consider visiting your physician or one of the local community testing sites. Many Walgreens and CVS stores also offer testing.

Any student who tests positive at an off campus facility must report those results to Health Services. Employees should fill out this self-report form if you test positive or if you are required to quarantine due to suspected or known exposure to COVID-19.

Get Tested Before You go Home

We are offering asymptomatic testing on campus. If you would like to take a COVID-19 test before heading home, you may do so at Bradley Health Services. Asymptomatic testing will be open to any student beginning May 3.

You must schedule your test in advance. Appointments are on a first-come, first-served basis and are of no cost to you. Results should be returned within 24 - 48 hours. There are other testing sites in the area, but these locations may take a few days to return results.

  • As a reminder, testing reflects only one point in time. A negative test should not be a replacement for preventative measures or other efforts to minimize exposure as you head home or when you are home.
  • If you are exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms call Bradley Health Services at 309-677-2700 to schedule an appointment.
