Media Production
Do you love podcasts, film, and digital storytelling? Are you fascinated by sound design, video editing, and media production? If so, a Media Production major is your ticket to an exciting career in the industry.
From day one, you’ll dive into hands-on experiences in the John C. Hench Production Studio, mastering the latest tech in audio and video editing. Early on, you’ll learn the art of media storytelling, then take your skills into the field—whether it’s producing Bradley’s live weekly newscast, working behind the scenes on film projects, or crafting media promotions.

Experiential Learning
- Work with cutting-edge media technology to produce high-quality sound and video with BUTV News, the Bradley Scout, NPR affiliate WCBU, and ESPN/BravesVision
- Intern with organizations such as the Peoria Chiefs, Clear Channel Radio, NBC Universal/The Olympics, Saddle and Bridle Magazine and Kate Spade
- Hands-on media production experience networking and professional development through participation in the Hollywood Semester, an opportunity to live, study and intern with media organizations in Los Angeles
- Build a digital portfolio that will set you apart in the competitive media industry
