Biography
Dr. Lee is an assistant professor in Education, Counseling, and Leadership at Bradley University. Before joining higher education, she served as a Pre-Kindergarten teacher for seven years. Dr. Lee has firsthand experience cultivating environments that are inclusive and sensitive to students from all backgrounds and guiding them to learn and grow in her classroom. Her Professional Educator’s License with Special Education and ESL endorsement welcomed students who need unique and various accommodations. Dr. Lee joined Bradley university in 2023 and is excited to share her field experiences with the future educators.

Scholarship
Dr. Lee is engaged in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL), leveraging her role as an educator to explore innovative strategies for enhancing the teaching and learning experience within college classrooms. Her research focuses on integrating technology to create interactive and inclusive educational environments that foster student engagement and understanding. Additionally, she examines methods for effectively assessing young children’s developmental progress, ensuring that future educators are equipped with evidence-based tools and techniques for evaluating and supporting early learners’ growth. Dr. Lee is also dedicated to studying the experiential learning processes of pre-service teachers, emphasizing the importance of hands-on, real-world teaching experiences that build confidence, competence, and resilience. Through her work, she aims to contribute to the professional growth and well-being of pre-service teachers, preparing them to meet the diverse needs of the students they will serve.
Service
Dr. Lee contributes to the growth and success of her department, college, and university by engaging in various service roles. She is a dedicated member of the Clinical Supervision Committee, where she works collaboratively to support and enhance the field-based experiences of pre-service teachers. Through her service, Dr. Lee ensures that clinical supervision processes are rigorous, supportive, and aligned with best practices in educator preparation.
