Art Education (K-12)
Bradley’s Art Education program prepares you for the State of Illinois Professional Educator’s License in Art Education, qualifying you to teach visual arts from kindergarten through 12th grade. From your very first year, you’ll gain hands-on classroom experience, with field placements continuing through your sophomore and junior years. These experiences build your confidence and skills, leading up to a comprehensive student teaching experience in your senior year.
Along the way, you’ll receive personalized mentorship from Bradley’s education faculty, supervising teachers, and expert artists in the art department, ensuring you’re fully prepared to inspire the next generation of creative minds.
The Department of Education is accredited by the Illinois State Board of Education.
